Cleaning the vents front and back
Moderators: Greg, Mark, mhrAJ333, JD
Noticed that we had barkdust blown in on the property and it accumulated all the way to the front and the bacl walls of the mh. I cleaned it away and noticed there was a screen tacked in place I guess to vent the home. I understand you want the mh to breath. Is this one of the ways that is accomplished? I would like as much circulation around the mh as possible. Is there anything else I can do to increase air circulation? Also, what about both long sides of the house. Is there venting there as well? If not how do I vent that area? Appreciate your comments and observations. psaltee

You do need venting underneath, particularly in the warmer months. You can use screens like you have, or there are automatic vents that can be installed. Some vinyl skirting has perforated panels.
You don't want moisture buildup underneath causing mold/rust/rot.
