Hello.
I've replaced half of the 3/8 copper with pex, now I'm doing the other half of the MH which has the HW tank.
Do I need to drain and/or release the pressure on the tank?
Changing the pipes on a HW tank.
You should be OK just relieving the pressure, but you may want to turn it off in case you end up draining it. It may siphon if the end you are working on is lower than the tank.
