I have a 1998 doublewide and it has this fireplace structure separating the living and kitchen areas. It’s right in the middle of the peak of the roof but is open on all sides around it. Wondering if it can be removed or if it is actually holding anything up. I have a photo but I didn’t see a place to upload anything.
It's hard to say for sure. Marriage walls are generally load bearing so you may need to design some type of support columns.
Posting pictures here can be very frustrating. When you do a post at the bottom of the box you should see 3 boxes, Options, attachments & poll creations. Click the attachments and attach a file, just resize the picture before you try to post it.
