The furnace run cool during operation but after it shuts off the whole thing even the front cover gets too hot to touch. Once it sits for a while it cools back down. What is Wrong?
It is aprox 8 yrs old and has run problem free till now.
Any help is appreciated

Call a Tech to inspect and diagnose, not something that is safe to try to do from here.

What you stated is an unsafe situation and without being there to see, would not be proper to try and diagnose.

Sometimes if the blower motor shuts off too soon, you'll possibly feel some heat. But it shouldn't be anything that hot, so get it inspected asap.
