Let me start with type.It is an Evcon EB15A.Have checked the coils and have continuity throughout.I an at a loss since this is a home I purchased in April 2007 and didn't need heat till now.Could it be a sequencer or limit switch or possibly a thermostat problem since it was changed right after moving in.The blower runs. The air works.Just no heat.Where should I start.I can send pictures if needed.

Could be thermostat not wired corectly
Could be sequencer
Could be circuit breakers in your main panel or on the furnace
Could be a limit switch.
There are many items that can cause no heat.

Is this a new home?
Is it under warrenty?
Do you have a electric meter and know how to use it?

Stat wired correctly, not sequencer, not breakers, not a new home,no warranty and yes I have a meter and know how to use one.

Simple just start following the voltage feed back from the elements until you find the device that is not functional and blocking current flow.

Hi,

Did you test sequencer ?

Does blower motor come on in heat/auto mode ?

Or, does blower just work for a/c-auto mode ?

If you tested sequencer, how and what readings did you get ?

Thanks,
Robert

I tested sequencer and was getting 10V on H1/H2, H3/H4 and 240 on M1/M2,M3/M4,M5/M6.I have replaced the sequencer and think the trans output is low so am going to replace it.Blower motor comes on in heat auto mode.I am at a loss here since I have no schematics for this unit and don't know anything about it.I can send pictures if needed.

You can order a wiring/parts diagram here after 9AM M - F:

I wouldn't buy anymore parts until sure of problem as that could get costly unnecessarily.

For a $20 fee, I can offer one on one email help with unit.

IF you then purchase parts from us, we apply half of that to your parts order.

Thanks,
Robert
