Coleman Evcon Presidential MSR-C
Oil burner 4084-386
after burner has shut down fan continues for a few minutes then shuts down but after a few minutes starts and runs for a second or two then after a few minutes starts and runs for a second or two and again and again. Bad limit/fan switch?

I have also noticed, though very seldom, on start-up with the burner fired the initial run of the fan may end after 10-15 seconds then restart a minute or two later and continue on through the heating cycle until the above problem at the shut down.

I believe all are the original components to the system.

Hi,

A faulty Fan & Limit Switch would be most common culprit for that.

Thanks,
Robert

Thank you And a further question.

Thanks
any thought on which of the three fan/limit switches would be the first choice as guilty?

Or should I replace all three due to there age?

Serving Him too!

There will only be one fan switch, the rest are just limits.

When replacing those type parts, it is always best to replace all at same time.

Keeps down confusion on which one was replaced later down the road.

Take care and God Bless,
