hello all
am a new owner of double wide with a large lot.
i guess i should start with.
im a city person not used to the terms-- wells, septic systems and
parts and pieces i just cant find.
was hoping to ask some questions here and get a handle on my tasks at hand.

to start with i just replaced the plastic tub for a nice fiberglass one now i cant find a surround tall enough to go from tub to ceiling(small window needs to be cut out of surround).
tub is 27"x 54". does anyone know where i can get a surround at least 69" tall..
am not sure what to do :?
any help will be greatly appreciated.
thanks

Hi Oz and welcome to the forum,

Bath surrounds usually don't go to the ceiling. When I redo a bath tub, if the existing walls are real bad or a bad color, I will swap them out with the standard Marlite style "tileboard" that they sell in the home stores and put the molded shower wall on it. You could also use the pebble grained FRP panel, if you like that look.

Other than that, you could use a 28x54 shower surround. I believe they are 68" tall and you could trim out the rest.

Hi

My Home Depot sells the Lionite Tileboard by Georgia-Pacific. Lots of different colors and patterns. Here's a link:

Have you looked into a three piece SHOWER surround?

I took one from tub to ceiling, pretty much like you are describing. I got it at Home Depots or Lowe's.
