replced thermocouple and gas valve on 7655-856 and still loosing flame.

When are you loosing flame?

Do you mean the pilot lite won't stay on at all or does it go out after a while?

sometimes when just pilot is lit and when burner is on.workes fine for a while and goes out.

Does the pilot and burner flame go out or just one of those ?


Since you replaced thermocouple and gas valve, all that's left for you to do is check pilot burner/orifice, burner and burner orifice to be all is clear and not clogged up.


Also check to see if gas valve is still getting full 24-28vac at GV terminals


Make sure you don't have a limit opening up due to overheating or just a bad limit with weak contacts.
