How old is my Coleman furnace?

One question we get asked a lot is, "How old is my furnace?"
For all but maybe the newer models, the serial number will tell you how old your furnace is. A Coleman serial number should be 9 digits. If you have a real old furnace that shows 8 digits, then its probably missing a zero in front.
In that serial number, the first two digits are the month, the second two digits are the year.
So now you know!
