Hey,
I live in North Dakota. The home is on a permenant foundation with windows for venting the underside. Remember I am in North Dakota, still getting into the teens at night here. When should I open vents?? Do I wait until it stays above freezing at night to prevent water line freezeups? Or is that not a big concern? Daytime highs are nearly 45 now. Just wondering??

Well here in Southern Ont, I wait until the last chance of frost has passed. Usually about the middle of may (our May 2-4 weekend). Or, just as the farmers start planting. We are not that much farther north than you are.

Yeah I'd wait a bit. At least until you're pretty sure temps. won't be anywhere near freezing. Later!
