I need to get 2 window air units for my doublewide. the ones I'm looking at are 110 volts. Is this going to cause a problem with my electricity, do I need to do something special? I want to get them in before it gets too hot. Thanks for helping the female that's not good at mechanical stuff.

Hi

I've used the small 110v units to cool small rooms with no problem.

As always .... don't put too many appliances on the same circuit.

Aside from the roof leak, soft floors, rats, mice and bursted plumbing ........ how do you like it?

I've been running two window air conditioners in my 1996 double-wide for the past 12 years without causing any electrical problems. The main unit is a 12,500 BTU air conditioner, and the second is a 7,500 BTU unit. I don't often have to run both at the same time, but when I've had the necessary occasion arise, it hasn't been a problem.
