My shed of 17 years needs it's shingled roof redone. My question is about venting the shed. It has a gambrel barn style roof. Can I use a ridge vent? Or does anyone have a better idea. I think the lack of venting led to the shingles curling and becoming brittle. They were 25 year shingle.

A ridge vent can't hurt, add some under eave vents to allow air in. Greg

Hi

We have 3 sheds. The one with the ridge vent is the coolest.

Aside from the roof leak, soft floors, rats, mice and bursted plumbing ........ how do you like it?
