Flooring the majority of the house..

Ok, last winter i ripped up the carpet and added laminate flooring(williamsburg cherry) planks, room was 12x16 or so.
So then it was on to the kitchen and dining room...didnt want to spend as much, so i went with the vinyl squares, 'traffic master images' from home depot, color regal wood. 30 tiles per box/30 sq ft per. I figure i've got 30 to 40% of the house in either the vinyl or laminate, still debating on the formal dining area room and the living room. Rip up carpet and replace, or go with the laminate or vinyl. Bedrooms staying carpet, for sure.
Here's some old pics, and progress of today so far:

Laminate planks, last winter's project.

Laminate flooring(den) old dark vinyl planks(middle) being replaced, and new stick on squares (bottom) going on. We were trying the best to match the light oak/pine color, bottom and top of the picture. Close as we can get without going to the same laminate planks..but the vinyl cost 3x less for the project.

New squares, what's done so far.

Welp, lunch break's over, time to go finish up the dining room.

All done, happy with the appearance of new mixed with the laminate in the den, not 'perfect' blend but close enough.

Very nice job! Nothing like the feeling of completing a project and being happy with it, is there? Of course I'm going from memory, since it's been awhile since I've completed anything.

Yes, knees and thighs a tad sore from 'squatting' and kneeling all day.
But feels good to get the job done!

A little late here, but possible for others, Harbor Freight has a Kneeling creeper for about $20. It's about the size of a skate board with padded inserts for your knees and swivel casters. Greg
