replacing split system on a manufactured home

I have a manufactured home 1993 schults American classic 18x80 with 10 ft ceilings, shingle roof
AC vents in ceiling, sheet rock walls designed like a modular

I have a split system with inside closet upflow system
ACOIL on bottom, then blower ON TOP OF THAT, electric furnace on TOP OF THAT, with duct GOING INTO ROOF .

the outside door is 22 inches wide and interior space is 29 WIDE, 19 1/2 INCHES DEEP,

WITH ACOIL- UPFLOW UNIT


OUTSIDE UNIT INTERTHERM 3TON 10 SEER

I AM LOOKING TO REPLACE THESE POSSIBLY NEED UPDATED ENERGY
EFFICIENT AT LEAST 13 SEER OR HIGHER
AND I DON'T KNOW WHICH WAY TO GO
AND CONCERNED ABOUT HAVING A 3TON OR 4 TON

what type of indoor outdoor replacement do you recommend
existing is very old 15 years still working but electric bill is high
and coil is dirty at the top inside of a coil, to much to have removed and cleaned.

IF I SHOULD ALSO GO WITH R22 SYSTEM OR 410A
SYSTEM

Hi,

While it is important to know all that info and select best system, that is not most important.

I advise finding 2-3 HVAC contractors experienced in mobile home systems.

Let them do an ACCA Manual J Load Calc for correct size unit needed.

They can also advise on what they feel is best unit for your home.


A TOP contractor can make the lower end unit purr.


A mediocre to lousy contractor can't get the best of best unit to turn on.


Find the installer and ask questions and listen carefully.


We sell parts for a lot of units and I work on a lot, that combined with not being there, it is my decision to stay away from recommending units.
