Compressor and Fan will not start
I have a Split Coleman system model BRCS0361CB and when you turn the thermostat to cool the contactor will move forward but the compressor and fan will not run. The unit has power going to it and I feel that it has a bad dual run capacitor. before I buy a replacement capacitor I just wanted someone else to give me there input.
Hi,
CAREFULLY use a screwdriver WITH electrical insulated handle to push inward on bar at contactor to be sure it IS pulling in all the way.
Also, be sure you have full 240vac entering and exiting contactor.
If so, most likely the dual run cap.
If you need ordering info, let me know.
Thanks,
Robert
