Yo

It’s Hurricane Fay time here. We are in the projected path. Should be here tomorrow and Wed. Sustained winds 75mph and gusts to 95mph expected. Lots of rain. We’ll probably loose power.
Today gas up the vehicles, get cash, ziplock papers and valuables, fill containers with water, secure the yard, check out the generator and extension cords, charge up cell phone, pick up fresh ammo….and most importantly …fill all of my brides requests.

Aside from the roof leak, soft floors, rats, mice and bursted plumbing ........ how do you like it?

Hey Harry,

Yup, thought of you last night as I was watching the weather.

Good list of things to get done, but do not forget to get meds into place in case you got to leave!

Not sure how much of this will effect us. Sure hope we get some rain out of it as we are still in the drought.

Take care and please let us know as soon as possible that you and family are ok.

Hi Harry,

Thanks for the heads up to those in 'cane areas. You stay safe down there. I hope the keys and S. Florida come out with minimal damage.

Take care,
JD

Hi Harry,

Thanks for keeping us posted!

Sometimes Tropical storms cause more rain and flooding damage than a full hurricane.

Anyone heard from Mark about his folks, I believe they live in the "Keys".

We are watching the progress of this storm. If it turns out to be anything significant (for us) this city will get real chaotic...we just had 30,000 new ECU students get into town!

Yep any storm with a name can be dangerous. In fact a few years ago it was a "no-name storm" that tore up the area around here.

Looks like Fay is going to move over north Florida the next few days.

South Florida got a lot of rain.

Mark's parents live in Souix Falls, SD . I believe they go down there in the winter/spring months.

Take care and best wishes,
Robert

Hey Robert,

Great to "see" ya over here! Yup, your right, LOL, it's been awhile since we have had weather alerts and needed to check up on folks.

Thanks for the info,

Yanita

Yo

The news is saying this storm will have made 6 and maybe 7 landfalls in Florida.
