My pilot light is not lit. The blower will come on when I turn the thermostat to auto, and the air conditioning works, but if I turn my thermostat to heat I get nothing. I am not sure if the only problem is that the pilot light is out, or if something else may be causing a problem. :?:

Hi,

Your furnace does not have a pilot light. It has an ignition module and a hot surface ignitor.

You have a booster motor that comes on first and then a centrifugal switch or air pressure switch that closes to send signal to ignition module to start ignition process.

Probably best to call an hvac tech to look at it and diagnose.

Take care and best wishes,
Robert
