Room Thermometers

Is there such a thing as an accurite thermometer?
I can have 3 thermometers lined up in a row in a room, and they will all read differently....by several degrees.
And not one matches the readout on the furnace thermostat, even if it is right next to it.
One is a mercury type. The other two are outdoor types.

Hi Barb P

Here's one that claims to be highly accurate....too expensive for me though.

Hi

He he he

Yep...don't matter 'bout the number. When my bride says it's too hot...it is too hot. When she says it's too cold...it's too cold.

If you want an affordable, great looking thermometer that will always work and needs no power supply buy a Galileo thermometer. It's one of those things that makes people go "WOW." Later!
