For plumbing gurus---
After having a serious water leak once when no one was home, I definitely will, from now on, turn off my main water supply valve, when I'm going on vacation!
My question is this....Will simply turning off the Main Supply Valve have any adverse effect on my gas water heater?
Maybe the heater should also be turned down/off?
Another thought..Is a seperate "Plumbing Forum" feasable for our site?
Thanks.....
Water supply.....
