Because it is windy here in the Texas Panhandle today, I can hear the wind whipping around the vents on the roof. That sound just drives me up the wall, so I would like to know if there is any way to cover or wrap the vents on the roof to stop or reduce that sound? I know that years ago, one of our neighbors, (who has since passed on) covered or wrapped their vents and you could not hear the wind sound in their house, but I don't know how they did it or what they used.
I would appreciate any suggestions.
Thanks

I think I'd be more apt to replace the vents with something different. We don't normally advise people to shut off their attic vents, as we'd feel bad if moisture started building up in the attic and you suddenly had mold problems.
