Crackling sound on windy days

OK, I know MH's tend to be noisy when temps change, but this is different.
Today, the winds have been very strong, gusting up to 50 mph. The northwest corner of the house crackles when the wind hits it. When I press on the interior molding between the wall and ceiling, I get the same noise.
Info that might apply:
* The winds were coming from the northwest, same direction as the corner of the house that was "crackling".
* We have a double-wide, which is on a foundation.
* The front porch/deck is connected to that corner of the house, and extends about a third of the length of the front of the house.
