I just installed a brand new Coleman DFAH084BBSA oil furnace in my mobile home. I am getting conflicting stories as to how often I have to have it completely torn down & cleaned..I am using #2 oil..Some tell me with a brand new furnace there is no need for a few years...others say every year, complete tear down....what is the right answer here?

Hi,

Not very experienced with oil furnaces, but I would have it serviced , cleaned and inspected every year.

Complete tear down cleaning as was deemed necessary.

Try to find a local oil furnace tech for best info and service ideas.
