START UP NEW FURNACE

i just purchased a Coleman DFAH084BBSA replacement oil furnace for my mobile home. I am a certified HVAC tech, but dont do oil. My question is: After I have it installed, can I start it up & use it? Is it set up from the factory to operate? I do know that for efficiency I need a Bacharach True Spot Smoke Test Kit , which I do not have. I am planning on getting a /Tech. out that has this kit, but with the holidays, it will be a while till i can get him out.. What I want to know, can I start it up & use it till I can get a tech to come out? Thanks Bob
