I recently installed a new Coleman downdraft oil fired furnace. On the plate inside it says the Maximum Outlet Air Temperature is 165 degrees... Where do I put my temperature probe to find out what is the actual Maximum outlet air temperature of my furnace? please elaborate..Thanks bob

Hi Bob,

At closest supply register, place probe dow in duct airflow.

Thanks,
Robert

Thank you very much...you made my & my wifes day...The closest duct is about 8 feet away ...The max temp. on the plate is 165 degrees & I get 140 degrees from the closest duct. We should be just fine then. Now we will sleep better..
Thanks Bob
