Hi,
Inside home is the furnace for heat. Then there is also your a/c evaporator A-Coil.
IF you have an electric furnace, the a-coil sits above the furnace.
If gas, natural gas or propane/lp, the a-coil is beneath the furnace.
Outside is the a/c condensing unit with compressor, condenser fan motor and contactor to energize them.
With condensing unit outside and a-coil inside, you have a split system for a/c .
What is it doing or not doing ?
What is the furnace model number found on a data sticker on furnace facing, usually lower to mid section.
Thanks,
Robert
