i have a furnace about 10 years old. it recently started to "act up". sometimes the burner won't come on. sometimes it does, and goes out in about a minute, and on and off a few times, never heating up enough to kick the blower on. sometimes runs fine. when it acts up, sometimes turning it off for a bit, then back on, helps. i replaced the thermostat and ignition control, no help. what can it be?

Hi Dale,

Could be any number of things and can't help without knowing what furnace it is.

Thanks,
