Have purchased new maple cabinets to replace the original particle board ones. The floor under original sink base and drawer cabinet on outside wall has collapsed from an old water leak under sink. Our formica countertop is custom and the bar area connected to the sink area at a right angle is curved. A new custom countertop right now with all the other expense is out of the question. Is there a way to install the new cabinets with new sink without removing the current countertop?

If you look from under the counter top you may be screwed in place. As long as you are replacing the cabinets, you could try pulling the top off with a bar. Greg
