Hello, well after months of looking and planning and saving we have one narrowed down and currently in discussions with the owner. The previous owner took the trailer from a 14x70 and added enough on each side to make it a 1700 sq ft of living space. My question is about the furnace; I am assuming that it is the original furnace which at this time should be totally to small for this space. How hard is it to swap for a larger furnace and should I just pay and have a contractor do it? I am mechanically inclined but really don't have the tools after moving several times. FYI it is an oil burner.

The difference between success and failure is who gives up first!
Hi,
Short answer is yes, have an hvac tech install it and get enjoyment and safety without hassle/headache of install.
Plus it keeps the warranty and homeowners insurance valid.
Thanks,
Robert
