Ok, so I was up on my roof yesterday  . I had been up there a couple days ago too, to cover my roof jack & around it (which itself is fine, but the sealant around it had deteriorated, letting rain water (not a lot) in just above my furnace on the inside. No damage to furnace, TG. I purchased a ladder, & some roof cement, did the best I could considering the weather conditions were not ideal for it (cold, humid, & some mositure around). I tarped it since we've had very heavy rains flash flood warning, etc. Now, tomorrow night it's dropping temp-wise in the teens at night. So, I guess I'll have to climb back up there, take down the tarp (so I can turn heat on). Should I (after it warms up) in a day or 2, add more roof cement to make sure I have a good seal? Thanks a lot.

Update; I just came down off roof, I removed tarp, since it's freezing tonight (literally). Some of roof cement was stuck/pulled away a little when I took the tarp off. So I wonder if it's gonna be ok? I had to rush; a neighbor that was supposed to help me bailed; luckily I grabbed another in time (to hold ladder). I didn't really check it, but it seemed soft & pulled away somewhat. Like I said, it wasn't applied under ideal conditions.
