JD,

Is there more than one kind of hidden fastener roofing? In web-surfing for DIY material, the only one that seems to admit to being hidden fastener is the 5-V crimp stuff, which also requires the crimping tool. If there's a reason why you can't go into detail on a public forum (been there), I'm going to update my profile so the discussion can go offline.

And I've become another convert to the value of Mark's Book.

5-V is not hidden fastener. The only ones I'm aware of is of the standing seam or snaplock variety. Each manufacturer has it's own custom profiles, but there are some industry typicals.
