I have a 14X70 MH with the gas furnace in a space the size of a small closet. The door is just one of those cheap closet doors with a vent at the top. What can I do to reduce the level of sound coming out of the door?? Most of the furnace noise is coming out that door. I am assuming that I just can't totally block the door. Is there something I can put on the inside of this door to deaden the sound?? What can I do about reducing the sound coming out the vent?? I appreciate any advise!!
thanks
Kurt
furnace room soundproofing
Hi Kurt,
You can anything that works, but if it is the actual furnace door, it will need to be fire rated.
Thanks,
Robert
