We have a 1974 14X70 that has an end bedroom that had a 1/2 bath . When we bought it the toilet had been removed but the sink was still there and the water lines still work . Also there is a outside water faucet hooked up to it. This past winter the cold water line burst and my husband capped it off .
We want to totally remove the water lines that go down to that end of the home . Any ideas about doing this ? Where would we look for where the lines T off to this area ? We have a center kitchen . Thanks ~~~~~~Vickie

Hi Vickie, In most homes the lines go down through the floor and are run next to the heat duct to stay warm in cold weather. Some people move the lines to an inside wall usually at the bottom just above the floor and make a small enclosure box to hide them. you will have to follow the pipes and see where they lead. I would recommend replacing with PEX if you plan on replacing them, Also a copy of Mark's book. Greg
