I have recently purchase a mobile home with a Coleman Furnace which seemed to be working fine until a couple of weeks ago when the pilot light went out. I tried to relight but as soon as I put the match in the chamber it would blow out. The following day I tried again and was successful. Is there an opening somewhere where the wind could be getting into that area?

Hi,

Downdraft through roof-jack possibly would only place unless there is an opening in duct and air coming up through there.

Be sure roof-jack has a cap, is above the peak of roof and preferrably an all weather cap.

Make sure sure duct work is sealed tight.

Thanks,
Robert
