I have an old Coleman dual AC/Furnace in my mobile home. The thermostat is a two-wire only with Red and White. I purchased a new Hunter Fan digital thermostat but the wiring diagram does not show how to replace a two-wire thermostat.. the new thermostat has G,W,Y,Rh and RC terminals.. I assume White goes to White, but where does the Red wire go ? The Rh and Rc are jumper out of the box..

Thanks

Hi,

If you have just one transformer being used, leave jumper and connect red to RH.

If you use two transformers, one for heat and one for cool, remove jumper and connect red to RH.

With that said, if you have not used or connected it yet, I would return it and get a Honeywell or RiteTemp .

Thanks,
Robert
