Blocks or steel piers?

I need to have the piers on my mobile home re-set. Some piers have fallen perhaps due to rotten non-pressure treated wood.

My local contractor says he really prefers concrete block on 16" pads. But most dealers here seem to use steel piers. My contractor says steel piers will need to be releveled each year.

What do you think?

I prefer steel piers over concrete blocks. Much easier to install, lower materials price and easier to work on the home afterward, like doing underbelly repairs and plumbing between that first row of piers and the skirting. I can't think of any reason that would cause steel piers to need releveling more than concrete blocks. Maybe if you double block each station, you'd have a bigger footprint, but nothing stops ground movement.
