That looks great!

I didn't know we could do that....so I put down luan on top of the plywood, and then my tiles. Guess it was overkill and a waste of money.

I have learned to ask THIS forum for ideas before I start any project, they kept me from removing a load bearing wall, told me how to prep my floors and I am currently working on hurricane window coverings. I LOVE THIS SITE!!! No drama, no nonsense, just really good people with really good ideas...

Always refer to manufacturer's install. We also recommend that if laying vinyl tiles IF your current vinyl flooring is in good condition you can clean it real well and lay your new tile over the vinyl. This also helps protect your subfloor from potential water damage. With any type of tiles you have 4 edges in which water can eventually work its way under.
