Please help. Have mod brcq0481bd condensing unit that will not start.
Have power through the contactor, and you can hear the compressor kind of growl but will not start and no fan.
Could this be the start capacitor gone bad. Note two days before the problem started something tripped the main breaker

May be a bad dual run capacitor, see if it is leaking or swollen any or bulging.

Dual Run Capacitor # G32-476 can be seen and ordered here if needed:

This may or may not resolve the issue, would take testing of circuit and components to know for sure.


IF full 240vac is getting through the contactor and neither compressor or condenser fan is running, it is a possibility of a bad run capacitor.
