Hi,

We have a Coleman EB20B it says "Central Electric Furnace" on the inside, and it does make warm air, but the air coming out of the vents seems to be noticeably less warm than last year.

What are the possible reasons why it would not warm up the air as much as the year before ?

(We just started using it for heat yesterday for this season)

Thanks in advance for any help !

Added note: since I originally posted this my wife tried putting the thermostat up higher than she had it and that does seem to help, (perhaps the heating element needs to be on for a lot longer to build up the level of heat in the air coming out of the vents) but just in case there are other reasons why an EB20B might not heat as well as before please post them so at least we'll know for future reference if needed, thanks !

Hi Gary,

Most common reasons would be either a bad set of contacts on sequencers not closing to energize all the coils or an element coil broken or faulty.

Both of these would reduce heat temp.

Thanks,
Robert
