My outside air unit never comes on.

When the thermostat calls for cool or heat, the Ignitor glows, which seems to indicate that the unit is always try to run the furnace, and not the AC.

The blower motor runs fine in both heat or cool, and when the thermostat calls for heat, the centrifugal switch operates fine.

Why would my outside air unit not come on? I've checked to make sure I don't have any circuit breakers that were flipped.

Hi,

Remove the cover of your t-stat AFTER you turn off breakers/power going to furnace.

How many wires are connected at t-stat and what colors and what letter designations does each color go ?

During winter, did the heat work fine ?

Now, when t-stat is set to cool and this sequence takes place, does it continue through a complete heat cycle ?

Thanks,
Robert
