coleman EB12B FAN DELAYS TURNING OFF

MY coleman EB12B has a problem. All works properly except when the tempurature reaches its setting 72 degrees heat the fan continues running for a long time after it does its normal cooldown before shutting of. it starts to blow cold air for at least a half hour. Its in a 1995 mobile home. any ideas why this is happening? thank you in advance... poorpoorpappy
