Coleman EB17B Fan Countinuously Runs

The fan in the inside unit of our Coleman unit continuously runs unless the breaker is turned off. The first step was to replace the t-stat, which had no results. The fan on the inside unit runs regardless of the settings on the t-stat (even when the fan is switched to off). The outside unit runs fine, comes on and off when it should, but not the inside unit.

Therefore, I am planning on in this order:
Replacing the fan relay switch (3110-3301)
Replacing the Sequencer if that doesn't work.

Is there anything else I should consider? Any testing I should do before replacing any parts?

Thanks!

Forgot to mention, this unit is in a double-wide that is 5 years old.

That would be a logical choice. The fan relay can stick closed causing this problem.

The heat sequencer would be my next choice part number 3115-3571

Hi Scott,

Turn t-stat OFF and with unit running continously, follow these steps:

Set meter to test for 300+ vac and test these at blower relay:

Terminals 2 and 4, test across, one lead on each = ???

Terminals 5 and 6 = ???

Then set meter to test for 30+ vac and test here:

Blower Relay 1 and 3, test across those also.

THEN, go to Sequencer and leave meter to test for 30+vac and test here:

H1 and H2, test across those 2.

Set meter back to test for 300+vac and test here:

M1 and M2, test across those 2.

This will identify faulty part and save $$$ from buying unneeded parts.

Take care and best wishes,
Robert

hvac1000 and Robert. Thank you both very much for your replies. I will do the testing you suggested on Saturday and reply with the results. This unit is actually my mother in law's and I will be there Saturday to actually do the work.

Thanks a ton guys...this is a great service you provide here.
