PEX in california

My new/old mobile home has galvanized pipes. I am planning to re-plumb it, and have read a lot of topics in this forum on PEX. When I google PEX use in California to look for PEX plumbing regs, all I find is the controversy over whether the state will allow this.

So, are there any CA mobile home members here, that know whether PEX is acceptable for DIY in mobile homes in CA? I have not seen it in the home improvement stores around here.

Thanks

Hi,

All brands of PEx plumbing is accepted in California and have been for many years. If you have hard water or acidic water like we have in areas of the Central Valley, it is by far the best choice.
