Closets and condensation

Hi,
Continuing to work on my reno project - it's coming along nicely!

Question is - the bedroom closet is on an outside wall and years ago I rented a trailer with the same thing - and found that boxes that touched the back wall of the closet froze/got wet during the winter. Not sure if this will be a problem in this closet - but if so - is there something I could line the closet with to minimize this?

Thanks, Shelley

You need to find a way to make sure things are not stacked directly against the wall so air can circulate there. That being said, i have a closet on an outside wall, and have no problems with it. I do have 6" thick walls, though.

If it is a reno, I assume that you are doing insulation, Make sure there are no gaps in that area and try to keep an air space as commodore said.
